“Today was my first TMS treatment. M and Dr. R were both amazing! Explained things as they went along…very supportive…and knowledgeable. The treatment went exactly as they had explained it to me. The only thing I felt was a prickly feeling on the top side of my head that made my nose tingle like I needed to sneeze or like a spark was shooting out the end of my nose…nothing really painful just tingly; and my right eyelid twitched occasionally. They told me my right fingers twitched; but, I only felt my middle finger twitch once. Other than that, I felt fine.
Before going into the office this morning I had multiple times of negative harmful thoughts. I had no energy or desire to do anything. I could not not go to a store on Sunday because of the anxiety caused by being around other people. This afternoon, after my treatment, I have been able to go into multiple stores with a family member AND by myself! I have had energy to go places. I have made plans to do fun things again in the future. AND most importantly I have had NO negative harmful thoughts!! This is amazing!! I am a little hyper…talking a lot. But, I’ll take that over staying in bed for five days straight, not being able to function at all!! I am a little worried it won’t last…but, I am hopeful and believing in the previous tests results of others that it will! Praise God for sending me the advertisement for Statesboro Psychiatry TMS treatment for depression on Facebook! And a BIG “Thank You” to M and Dr. R for all they are doing to help those of us battling depression!!

I have finished my TMS treatments and I must say they were wonderful! The staff were all so supportive and I feel “human” again! I want to live! I realize life is still tough; but, I have better control of my thoughts now. It is amazing!

Now I am working with JS and RR on therapy to help manage the stress of everyday anxieties and my PTSD. Both professionals have provided wonderful resources and support during our sessions. I could not ask for better care or advice. This group of professionals are the best!” – KC
